Zoom Prayer Time

We are praying together on Zoom this Wednesday evening at 8.30pm. We’d love you to join us as we pray for our church family – especially ahead of our Easter services and our first in-person gathering in three months.

Gathering Together Again

In regards to us gathering again next Sunday, you have already or you will receive a letter from me with some more information and a copy our updated guidelines for gathering together. You can access the text of the letter by clicking here. You can also watch a refresher video on what church looks like here.

Easter Services

As you’ll know, we’re running some special services over the Easter weekend. The first is a service on Good Friday and the second is an evening service on Easter Sunday. Both of those services start at 8pm and will last for similar lengths of time – around half an hour. You’ll be able to access the livestream through the church website. We’d love you to join us for these special services as we think about Jesus’ death and resurrection together.

Moderator’s Easter Service

This afternoon a special Easter service recorded by our current Moderator, Rgt. Rev. David Bruce, will be available on our church website. It acts as something of an evening service for us. It’ll be on the website from 5pm and I’ll share it on social media and also in the church family WhatsApp group. Let me encourage you to take some time to watch it if not today then sometime this week.

Faith Mission Online Convention

In normal circumstances, the Faith Mission Bangor Convention would be held in person around Easter. This year, instead of happening in person, the convention is moving online. It’s running from Friday 2nd to Tuesday 6th April. You’ll be able to watch the convention by going to www.faithmission.org. The conference events will start at 7pm each day. For more details about speakers and singers, you can go to the Faith Mission website.

Drive-In Services

The final announcement this morning is to say thank you to everyone who contributed to our recent drive-in services. It was great to be able to gather in that way. One of my highlights was just being able to wave at you all at the gate as you left the yard. The work that went into those services was appreciated by myself and also all of you who attended. Thank you again to everyone who was involved.

Join us on FaceBook

If you are a facebook user, then we would invite to to join with us there. Over the coming weeks and months it is our intention to use facebook to provide useful information, highlight upcoming online events and share items of praise that can be used in conjunction with our online services.

We feel this is a great way for our Church to remain active in these uncertain times and to let the wider world have a little glimpse of our life in the Braid.
