Buckna Presbyterian Church

Announcements, 27.12.20

Here are the announcements from this week’s Sunday service. We’re not meeting in person today because of the ongoing uncertainty regarding the pandemic. Kirk Session also felt it would be wise and in the best interests of our church family not to meet in person today because many of us will have been mixing over the past two days. I trust that you had an enjoyable Christmas with your family.

New Year’s Eve Online Epilogue Service

We are running an online New Year’s Eve epilogue service. It will be available on Thursday night at 11.45pm and will run into the first few minutes of 2021. It’ll be available through our website and Vimeo. Let me encourage you to watch along with us as we have the opportunity to usher in the New Year together.

Next Sunday

Lord willing, we will be meeting in person next Sunday (3rd January). Our service will be at the usual time of 12pm and we’ll also be live-streaming to the church hall and online as usual too.

Financial Contributions for 2020

Due to our closure today we have extended the date for receiving financial contributions for 2020 to next Sunday (3rd January 2021).

Daily Bible Reading Notes

Daily Bible reading notes for 2021 will be delivered this week by Laura Hamill. It would be appreciated if payment is made in full when they are delivered. This will save with any confusion during lockdown. Cheque will be accepted and can either be given to Laura on delivery or posted to her at: 32 Hazelbank Road, Aughafatten, BT42 4LP.

New Year’s Wishes

Let me take this opportunity to wish you a peaceful New Year. I trust that the Lord will bless you and your family in these days.

Join us on FaceBook

If you are a facebook user, then we would invite to to join with us there. Over the coming weeks and months it is our intention to use facebook to provide useful information, highlight upcoming online events and share items of praise that can be used in conjunction with our online services.

We feel this is a great way for our Church to remain active in these uncertain times and to let the wider world have a little glimpse of our life in the Braid.
