Below are the announcements from our service this weekend. Rev. Ronnie Agnew is taking the service in Buckna and I am taking the services in 1st Broughshane.
Wednesday Prayer Gatherings and Online Midweek
We are gathering in the hall to pray again this Wednesday evening. We’ll be meeting from 8pm in the church hall. Online midweek will also be available this week. It’ll be on the church website from 5pm and we’re continuing with our Route 66 series.
Harvest Services
Today is the Sunday when we mark the Lord’s goodness to us through harvest. We are running a special livestream harvest evening service tonight at 8pm. There will be no congregation present but the service will be broadcast live online at 8pm. We’re going to hear someone’s story of coming to faith in Jesus and we’re also going to look at the Bible together. The Praise Group will be involved too. We’d love you to join us as we worship God in this way.
Please also know that you can return harvest offering envelopes during the month of October. Thank you as well to those who decorated the meetinghouse and church hall for our harvest service. This quiet work behind the scenes is very much appreciated.

Vibe
Vibe are meeting online via Zoom this incoming Thursday at 7.30pm. Lynn will be speaking on the first part of the ‘Committed to Christ’ theme looking at being committed to church. All young people who are Year 8 and up are welcome to join us. The Zoom details will be posted into the parents WhatsApp group. If anyone wants added to the group, please contact Paul Montgomery.
Presbyterian Herald
Some staff have now returned to work at Assembly Buildings. We have, however, received information about the Presbyterian Herald. There will be no Herald magazines printed in 2020 and the next edition will be in the first part of 2021 at the earliest. No further details regarding subscriptions are available at this point. We will keep you updated should any more information be provided.
Kirk Session
A meeting of Kirk Session will be held on Thursday 15th October 2020 at 8pm in the Church Hall.
